Foundation for Leadership

R.I.S.E represents the 4 qualities of respect, integrity, self-awareness, and engagement.

These qualities guide our efforts to help students discover their leadership potential and serve as change agents in their communities.

Foundation for Literacy

Our leadership framework centers around 5 developmental areas and clarifies the knowledge and skills we foster as we equip and train future leaders around the world. They come together to create the “Leaders are Readers” learning pathway.

1. Socio-Emotional Learning

R - Establish and maintain positive relationships 

I -  Develop decision-making skills

S - Use self-management skills

E - Demonstrate responsible behaviors towards self, others, and community

2. Emotional Intelligence

R - Identify and manage emotions

I -  Develop positive self-talk
